A native of St. Joe, Florida, Knute Nathe began his practice as an extern in the State Attorney's Office of the Eighth Judicial Circuit, assisting in the prosecution of felony domestic violence cases. He later served as a Certified Legal Intern in the Hillsborough County State Attorney's Office, prosecuting misdemeanors and felonies committed by juveniles. After admission to the Florida Bar in 2013, Knute joined the Hillsborough County State Attorney's Office as an assistant state attorney where he conducted numerous jury trials, nonjury trials, and motion hearings.
Knute joined McClain Alfonso, P.A. in November 2014, where he practices in the areas of criminal law, family law, personal injury and civil litigation. Knute has experience in State trial and appellate courts as well as administrative experience before the Division of Administrative Hearings.
As a law student, Knute was Vice President of the local chapter of Law School Republicans and Treasurer for the local student chapter of the Federalist Society for Law and Public Policy. He was also involved in the local chapter of Christian Legal Society, the Catholic Student Center at St. Augustine's Catholic Church, and the Law College Council.
Knute is a longtime parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church where he teaches adult religious education classes. He is also a member of the Federalist Society for Law and Public Policy.
